Camper Expectations:
Each camper agrees to:
☐ Treat fellow campers, volunteers, coaches, staff, and visitors with kindness and respect.
☐ Use appropriate language at all times.
☐ Follow all instructions provided by camp staff and volunteers.
☐ Demonstrate good sportsmanship whether winning or losing.
☐ Respect camp property, equipment, facilities, and the property of others.
☐ Keep hands, feet, and objects to themselves.
☐ Participate positively in camp activities.
☐ Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
☐ Wear appropriate athletic clothing and footwear.
☐ Bring a refillable water bottle each day.
☐ Report injuries, unsafe situations, or bullying immediately to a staff member.
Unacceptable Behavior: The following behaviors are prohibited and may result in disciplinary action:
☐ Fighting or physical aggression
☐ Bullying, harassment, intimidation, or threats
☐ Disrespect toward staff, volunteers, or other campers
☐ Use of profanity, offensive language, or inappropriate gestures
☐ Theft or vandalism
☐ Possession of weapons, tobacco, alcohol, vaping devices, illegal drugs, or other prohibited items
☐ Leaving the supervised camp area without permission
☐ Intentional damage to camp equipment or facilities
☐ Any behavior that creates an unsafe environment for others
Electronic Devices
To encourage participation and safety:
• Cell phones should remain put away during camp activities unless permission is granted by camp staff. Positive Youth Training Ministries Inc. is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items. Discipline Policy: Positive Youth Training Ministries Inc. believes in teaching and correcting behavior through positive guidance whenever possible. Depending on the severity of the behavior, disciplinary action may include:
• Verbal reminder, coaching, and redirection
• Parent/guardian notification
• Temporary removal from an activity, suspension from camp
• Dismissal from camp without refund for serious or repeated violations. The organization reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior threatens the safety, well-being, or positive experience of others.
Description
Positive Youth Training Ministries Inc. is committed to providing a safe environment for all campers. During periods of high temperatures or excessive humidity, camp staff will monitor weather conditions and adjust activities as needed.
Safety measures may include:
Moving activities indoors
Increasing hydration breaks
Reducing physical activity
Providing shaded rest periods
Cancelling outdoor activities if conditions become unsafe
Parents are responsible for sending their child with:
A refillable water bottle
Comfortable athletic clothing
Appropriate athletic shoes
Any necessary medical information

A concussion is a brain injury that may result from a bump, blow, or jolt to the head.
Possible symptoms include:
Headache
Dizziness
Nausea
Confusion
Blurred vision
Sensitivity to light
Difficulty concentrating
Loss of balance
Positive Youth Training Ministries Inc. follows a safety-first approach.
Any camper showing signs of a concussion will:
Immediately stop participating
Be evaluated by camp staff
Have a parent or guardian contacted
Be referred for medical evaluation if necessary
Require medical clearance before returning to activities when appropriate
I understand that participation in Savannah Ravens Summer Camp activities includes normal risks associated with:
Sports
Recreational games
Physical exercise
Outdoor activities
Transportation
Field trips
Camp equipment
Weather conditions
I voluntarily allow my child to participate.
I understand that Positive Youth Training Ministries Inc., Savannah Ravens Summer Camp, its employees, coaches, volunteers, board members, churches, facility partners, sponsors, and community partners are not responsible for injuries resulting from the ordinary risks associated with camp participation, except where prohibited by applicable law.
I certify that my child is physically able to participate in camp activities or that I have disclosed any medical conditions requiring accommodation.
I authorize emergency medical treatment if I cannot be reached.
Positive Youth Training Ministries Inc. (PYTM Inc.) values the privacy of every participant while celebrating the achievements and experiences of our youth. Throughout camp and program activities, photographs, video recordings, audio recordings, and digital media may be captured to document and promote our programs.
These images and recordings may be used for educational, informational, promotional, and fundraising purposes in support of Positive Youth Training Ministries Inc. and Savannah Ravens Athletic.
